Suprisingly Good!

I made it through the rain, drenched, but alive. ;) Nicole and I huddled up next to the heater so that I could dry off, and of course, to keep us warm!

Today I brought in a wrist brace upon Nicole's millionth request (I am seriously so forgetful when asked to go buy something...regaurdless if it benefits my health!), so we tried that out right away. The brace goes on my right wrist and helps my wrist stay strong while I hold the 4lb weight. I started with bicep curl with my right arm. Then I brought the weight up in a bicep curl, then extended my arm straight up, then brought the weight back down, and finished the bicep curl. Those hurt! Lastly, I lifted the weight, palm down, arm straight, out in front of me. This was the first time I was able to do these exercises, because I had finally boughten a wrist brace! And GOOD LORD! My arms were definitely feelin' it! I don't know if I've ever worked that hard to get my arms up! Once I finished on the right side, I took a deep breath, and switched to the left arm.

Next, Nicole had me tilt my chair back, and we worked on my legs. I worked on lifting both legs up, and eventually added arm-raises to the mix. Then, I did these "jack-knife" sit ups. And we worked on raising my bent knees up. When Nicole saw how successful all of this was, she decided we should make a video for the blog! So, WATCH THE VIDEO to see how spectacular I am! ;)

Finally, Nicole and I tried this new exercise where she put my feet up on this "foot-pedal-thingy," and placed something behind my back so that I could sit a bit more forwards, and I pushed my feet and the "foot-pedal-thingy" down, so that it touched the floor. Then I raised my knees back up, and then I pushed them down again.

We did that for the last 5 minutes of our 74TH SESSION! All I've got to say is Wow.
