At Least I'm Not Headed For Surgery!

I hate getting hurt! Apparently, on Monday during my iron-pumping session with Nicole, I "overworked/sprained" my left fore-arm. I have two bruises on my wrist, and it's a little swollen, but it definitely doesn't look too mangled! I thought, Great. Just when my progress starts picking up... But Nicole said that my injury is a good thing. It's evidence that I'm working hard. Besides, my injury wasn't so bad. She knew this Personal Trainer who was always hurting herself, and ended up having 12 surgeries!

Well, the doctor told me to take it easy on my left fore-arm/wrist, so I'll keep this brief (I type with my left hand...I guess typing is bad for it).

Today, Nicole had me do ALL leg work. Nicole tilted my w.chair half-way back, and there I stayed for the remaining 55 minutes! I tried lifting only the right leg. Everytime I try this, I get overflow action in my left leg. Nicole held my left foot down for awhile, until my muscles "understood the game plan." Then, I tried lifting the right and keeping the left leg down on my own. We repeated this exercise a bunch.

I also raised my knees up off of the w.chair, each knee individually. My left knee continues to raise higher than the right, but my right knee is improving its heighth.

Nicole kept urging me to raise my knees up higher and lifting my right leg more!

An hour of leg-lifts...........fun!
