Monday's Widget-Day! So, guess what I did.....I worked-out in my widget! Thrilling to hear, I know. Lol. I spent the first 20 minutes or so, pumping my widget too and fro across the studio. First forwards, then backwards. I got my arms warmed-up and ready for Nicole's next workout.
I didn't do much today, but I spent the next 45 minutes doing the same thing over, and over, and over again! Nicole had me do a gazillion bicep curls. First, I did just the left arm. Then the right. Then, I did both arms simulraneously...which, by the way, I've never done before because my abs weren't strong enough to hold my upper body upright. I then went back to switching-off arms. I am DONE with bicep curl for awhile!
Nicole then had me hold the weights down by the wheelchair wheels, staight arms. And I brought my straight arms up as high as I could go, and lower them back down slowly. I didn't keep track of how many Nicole had me do (I was a lil distracted by the pain I felt!), but my shoulders were feelin' it!
I got a short break from the weights, and did arm-circles (forwards and backwards), twisted invisible doorknobs, and did this thing where I started with my arms straight out to the sides, bent at my elbows to touch my shoulders, and straightened my arms back out. Do those for awhile, and you'll want to call the firefighter...my muscle burned so bad!
Nicole attempted to get me back to bicep curls, but that didn't last long! My arm and wrist muscles were floppy now, and begging for a rest! So, I spent our last 15 minutes pumping my widget back and forwarth!
